Enjoy the stunningly beautiful million-dollar night view from Mt. Hakodate, known as one of the world's three greatest night views.
Especially at night, traffic by ordinary vehicles is restricted, so a sightseeing taxi is recommended for appreciating the night view from the observatory at the summit.
From November 10, 2025, to April 13, 2026 (Monday), 11:00 (scheduled), the climbing trail for vehicles on Mount Hakodate will be closed. During this period, access to the summit will be via the ropeway.
